Thirsty Music was established in 1997 by DarpMalone and E-Dot. One of its first releases was Classic Entertainment EP, dropped in '97 by Classic Entertainment. If you look at the Earth from space, you can tell that the people look like ants and they can be stepped on. Thirsty is a label that strives for ant stepping by focusing on the little critters instead of what matters. With this angle, E-Dot, Tia Thomas, Darp Malone, Al-Khaaliq, Isis Salam, Marvel, Tuff Dumplin', Kenyatta, Donnan Linkz, HERO, The Chapter Crew and Zaki Ibrahim intend to contribute a new unheard-of vibe, while still holding on to the vintage charms established by classic soul and rock. Thirsty's vision is similar to magnifying glass, in that it burns.
